Brad Gardner
Brad Gardner was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his undergraduate degree from Alabama A&M University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Brad graduated from the Emory University School of Law in 2000. Upon graduation from law school, he immediately began to litigate civil and criminal law cases in both federal and state courts in Georgia. Brad is admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals and every other court in the State of Georgia. He has authored appellate briefs to the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia and has litigated death penalty cases as a Staff Attorney for the Office of the Georgia Capital Defender.
Brad joined Forrest B. Johnson & Associates with seven years of litigation experience and community involvement including his service as a Chair of the Minorities in the Profession Committee and the Criminal Law Committee for the YLD Section of the State Bar. He is a Vice-President in the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and is a member of the Clayton County Bar Association, the Georgia Alliance of African-American Attorneys, and YLD Litigation Committee.
