Forrest B. Johnson

Forrest B. Johnson is President of Forrest B. Johnson & Associates, a native Floridian, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida in 1975 and a Juris Doctorate degree from Tulane University in 1978. He is a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. Forrest was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1979. He began his career as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Jacksonville, Florida. He served as adjunct Professor at Jones Business College and Florida Community College in Jacksonville, Florida.
Forrest was awarded the Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Merchants Association’s Economic Development Award. He has contributed to educational and athletic programs and has provided sponsorships for football, baseball and basketball teams in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive Community.
Forrest is a frequent speaker on the topics of successful law firm management, emerging trial techniques and trends, and personal injury litigation. He has won in excess of $50 million dollars in verdicts and settlement for his clients during the course of his legal career. Forrest attributes his success to his tireless work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Bachelor of Arts Degree

Received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida.

1978 –

Juris Doctorate Degree

He earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Tulane University.

1979 – 

Admission to Florida Bar

Forrest was admitted to the Florida Bar and began his career as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Jacksonville, Florida.

1982 – 

Private Practice

He entered private practice by opening his law office in Jacksonville, Florida, focusing on medical malpractice, personal injury, auto accidents, tractor-trailer collisions, wrongful death, and product liability.

1987 – 

Admission to Georgia Bar

Forrest was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia.

1988 – 

Atlanta Office

He opened an office in Atlanta, Georgia.

2009 – 

A.T. Walden Outstanding Lawyer Award

Forrest received the Gate City Bar Association’s A.T. Walden Outstanding Lawyer Award.
